Webbrowser control problems -

Here's my problem. I have a program that uses the internet explorer webbrowser control to display sponsor sites, the problem is that the sponsors websites launch javascript popups. I need a way to kill the popups, I've tried setting the newwindow2 event to cancel the popups but that causes a javascript error. So what I need is some way to disable javascript entirely or a way to disable the error messages.
