[SERIOUS] Open Source -
What language is used for creating OpenSource software? Before this can be answered, I need to ask:
What exactly is the definition of open source? I get quite a few different answers to this question, and all of them differ. Some say that open source only means distributing your source code free of charge, meaning that all code in the CodeBank is open source? Others say that it is defined by being able to run on any operating system, (cross platform) it was coded in a specific language, or some other odd definitions...
Can anyone shed some clear light on the subject?
