ODBC/SQL Server 2000: Connection failed -
In all the sudden, my machine could not connect to the SQLServer 2000 while all the others are still be able to connect.
I've used ODBC to set up a DSN, and here is the error message:
Connection failed:
SQLState: '08001'
SQL Server Error: 17
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB] SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
I did the following:
*Reboot my machine/ Stop & Start Server/ Reboot Server/ Reinstall MDAC 2.7 on my machine

Quick query, we have just plugged an SQL 2000 server into our network. Fine. I can connect to it from my PC for about 15 minutes but then for no apparent reason my connection gets dropped I can still ping the server though. I then have to wait a few minutes, and the I can connect again
